This weekend, we had new releases for Hallyu fans. Netflix released a Korean movie called Pavane. Did you have questions about how the story ended or if the characters stayed together? We’ll tell you the ending in detail. Pavane follows three lonely characters who, upon meeting, find joy, hope, and comfort. “Gyeong-rok” was abandoned by his father and then lost his mother. Now he works in a warehouse, where he meets “Mi-jeong.” His friend “Yo-han” notices this immediately and helps them get together.

How does Pavane end? This is how the movie ended

The conflict in Pavane occurs when Yo-han attempts suicide, while Mi-jeong and Gyeong-rok separate when he returns to college because they can no longer see each other. The girl writes him a letter explaining why she chose to leave, and he tries to move on with his life, but he cannot forget her. He tries to find her but cannot locate her, even when he visits the places they used to go together. He visits Yo-han and even runs into Se-ra at the warehouse, who decides to help him find the girl. Finally, they meet again on a stormy night, talk, and rekindle their romantic relationship.

They agree to go on a date, but the protagonist of Pavane never shows up because a car accident prevents him from arriving at the agreed time and place. Thus, he fails to keep his promise never to separate again.

Do Mi-jeong and Gyeong-rock end up together in Pavane?

At the end of the film, Yo-han recovers and decides to write a book about his friends’ story. In the novel, he explains that after the accident, the boy lost his memory, but later managed to reunite with his beloved. In real life, things were very different. Mi-jeong and Gyeong-rock do not have a happy ending because he died in the accident. She mourns this loss and blames herself for letting him get on the bus, but despite this, she tries to move on and starts working as a music teacher.
