Noh Ki Jun’s Position in Audit Team 1
Up until now, Noh Ki Jun has always gotten what he wanted. He was able to achieve all of this thanks to his excellent work skills. He has also been known as a competent and highly dedicated figure in his work at Haemu Corporation. This ensured he never missed a promotion opportunity. As a result, Noh Ki Jun was made a key member of Audit Team 1. He frequently handled major cases, ranging from corruption to other issues involving high-ranking officials.
Noh Ki Jun is currently working on a major case whose details have not yet been disclosed. He is handling it on his own without any help from his colleagues. In fact, his colleagues don’t even know what case Noh Ki Jun is currently investigating. This made it unthinkable for him to ever face a demotion.
Noh Ki Jun is considered suitable
Noh Ki Jun’s life also changed drastically after Joo In A’s arrival. She is his boss, serving as the new head of the audit department. Since Joo In A’s (Shin Hye Sun) arrival, the employees who recognized her were immediately in an uproar. Joo In A is known as a stubborn and strict employee. She doesn’t hesitate to ruin the lives of other employees who have been reprimanded by her. As a result, her appearance immediately caused a stir and panic after she was transferred from the overseas branch.
Joo In A’s presence actually turned Noh Ki Jun’s life into a series of misfortunes. He was transferred to Audit Team 3, which only handles minor cases involving employees’ personal misconduct. Whenever asked why, Joo In A always replied that Noh Ki Jun was the right person to handle those internal scandals.

On the day Joo In A started work, Noh Ki Jun ran into his ex-girlfriend, Ji Hye (Pyo Young Seo), who also works at Haemu Group. The woman, who initially seemed cold, suddenly pulled her ex into the emergency staircase.
Ji Hye immediately began flirting with Noh Ki Jun and making physical advances toward him. Naturally, he was taken aback and immediately stopped her. He made it clear that he wasn’t the type of man who could be easily swayed by flattery. Moreover, his ex-girlfriend was actually planning to marry another man and saw him as nothing more than a passing fling.
Unexpectedly, the incident was witnessed by an employee whose identity was not immediately revealed. However, this person was eventually shown in episode 2. It turned out that Joo In A had witnessed their actions, leading her to believe that Noh Ki Jun was well-suited to handle cases of personal misconduct, particularly those involving infidelity.
Naturally, Noh Ki Jun felt uncomfortable working there and sought a way to leave Audit Team 3. Unfortunately, all his plans failed, leading him to consider quitting Haemu Group. However, he ultimately decided to stay after receiving a report that Joo In A was having an affair with another employee. Noh Ki Jun then planned to bring down his boss after verifying the anonymous report.
