The anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, which debuted in 2018, follows Minami Satoru, an ordinary 37-year-old who dies and is reincarnated as the most insignificant creature imaginable: a slime. At first, things are pretty grim. He is blind, deaf, and weak. But by combining his two special abilities, “Predator” and “Great Sage,” the new Rimuru Tempest will use his slimy powers to win over both friends and enemies in a diverse new world.
The series is based on the best-selling manga and light novel series that has sold over 56 million copies. The work is written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. In the upcoming season 4, which will be available to stream on Crunchyroll on April 3, 2026, Demon Lord Rimuru’s dream of creating an alliance between humans and monsters takes a step closer to realization. As Tempest continues to prosper, Granville Rozzo and his granddaughter Maribel Rozzo clash with Demon Lord Rimuru over their plan to protect humanity by ruling over it. Meanwhile, in El Dorado, Demon Lord Leon works to achieve his own goals. The awakening of a new Hero draws near!
