This Sunday, the website for the anime Yuru Camp, Laid-Back Camp in English, published a new poster, trailer, and information about the release window, production team, and cast for Season 4. According to the plan, it will begin airing sometime in 2027. To be honest, I thought it would be sometime this year, especially since it was announced in November 2024. But this is due to certain unexpected changes.
The first of these is that 8-bit, the studio that animated the third installment, is no longer involved in the production. Its place is now taken by FuRyu Pictures. It would have been great if C-Station, the original studio, had been in charge again. But we’ll see how this animation house does. I get the impression that more care has been taken with the settings. They now have a more colorful and lively appearance than in previous episodes, which is not a bad thing.
However, Shin Tosaka returns as director for Season 4 of the anime Yuru Camp/Laid-Back Camp, and as its premiere approaches, we will see how he handles things now. Pierre Sugiura, also known as Masafumi Sugiura, is once again in charge of the scripts. Ryūta Ura, key animator for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train and the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel trilogy, is now the new character designer. He takes the place of Hisanori Hashimoto. Akiyuki Tateyama and Takeshi Takadera are back to compose the music and direct the sound, respectively. Several of the actresses and actors from previous seasons of the series are returning to the cast:
Yumiri Hanamori as Nadeshiko Kagamihara
Nao Tōyama as Rin Shima
Sayuri Hara as Chiaki Ōgaki
Aki Toyosaki as Aoi Inuyama
Rie Takahashi as Ena Saitō
Tomoyo Kurosawa as Ayano Toki
Maria Sashide as Ema Mizunami
Kokoa Amano as Mei Nakatsugawa
Akio Ōtsuka as the Narrator
Asaka will sing the opening theme song, while Eri Sasaki will sing the ending theme song, both of which are unknown. The band Kiminone will perform the series’ main theme song. I hope things go well with Season 4 of the anime Yuru Camp/Laid-Back Camp, especially when it premieres. Thanks to ANN for the details.
