To celebrate her 22nd birthday, Netflix star Millie Bobby Brown appeared on social media sharing an intimate photo with her young daughter. Together with her husband Jake Bongiovi, son of the American singer, the young actress enjoyed a moment of serenity on the beach.
In the photo, which you can see at the bottom of the article, the two are sitting next to each other by the sea, with a blanket protecting them from the bitter cold of this time of year. The daughter is looking out to sea, while her mother gazes at her lovingly. Although they both have their backs to the camera, the moment is intimate, adorable, and full of sweetness. “22. I am grateful for my husband and daughter. For my family and friends. For all my animals,” wrote the 22-year-old actress in the caption of the post. “I am lucky. Thank you for the birthday wishes. Hugs and kisses.”
Together with Jake Bongiovi, 23, the Stranger Things star enjoyed a birthday breakfast in New York. The couple has embarked on a “beautiful and extraordinary” journey to become parents. In August, the two announced that they had adopted a baby girl, news that warmed the hearts of the young actress’s millions of fans. “She has already taught us so much,” Millie Bobby Brown told British Vogue in an interview published in November 2025. “Perspective is a huge thing. The little things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with cuddles, laughter, and love. It’s just endless joy.”
Despite the photo shared on her social media, the actress has vetoed any images of her daughter being released, stating, “It’s really important to me to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially share it one day. It’s not my place to intentionally put her in the spotlight without her wanting it. If one day she chooses to share her personality with the world, as I did when I was little, we will support her.” This is certainly an interesting realization for an actress considered one of the most famous child prodigies of all time.
