Throughout the four seasons of the Bridgerton series, several sensual scenes have thrilled audiences. However, some of the cast have revealed that it is not always possible to see the positive side of those moments while still on set. With a lot of effort, awkward situations, and even illness, the release of the latest Netflix installment has led to yet another of these surprising stories.

The bathtub scene lasted 7 hours
Already available in the Brazilian streaming catalog, the second part of the fourth season of Bridgerton is on track to generate new revenue records for the platform. This time, the plot focuses on one of Violet’s (Ruth Gemmell) sons. With Benedict (Luke Thompson) trying to find his mysterious new love, the most recent episodes follow his romantic relationship with Sophie (Yerin Ha), and one scene in particular caught the attention of fans of the work originally written by Julia Quinn.

After Benedict hints that Sophie could be his lover, their relationship enters a delicate situation. However, in the last episode, in the middle of an emotional reconciliation conversation, the man apologizes and ends up saying how much he loves Sophie. Given this scenario, a hot and sensual scene takes over the screen. Together in the bathtub, their intimate moment is finally shared in the most romantic way possible. On the other hand, outside of fiction, not everything was so cool during the seven hours of filming.
An allergic reaction
With Capital Breakfast, the actress said that a poorly thought-out combination of so many hours of filming caused a terrible reaction in her body. Knowing that she would have to spend a long time underwater, she decided to use a trick to make the whole process easier. “I basically rubbed baby powder on myself because I was told it would help dry my skin so I could stick my underwear on with tape.” For some reason, the powder damaged Yerin’s skin, leaving her with folliculitis and hives.
Currently, the actress’s allergic reaction has improved, especially after treatment with ointments. Without blaming the production, she joked that “maybe she’s too sensitive” for scenes like this.
