Don’t overthink it just yet; this drama actually gives viewers the opportunity and freedom to interpret the ending in their own way. Curious about what that means? With Eun Ho’s disappearance, all the destinies that had been switched are restored

With Eun Ho’s (Kim Hye Yoon) disappearance, all the destinies that had been switched are finally restored to their original state. Therefore, in Eun Ho’s vision of the future, it is not Hyeon Woo Seok (Jang Dong Joo) who stabs her, but Kang Si Yeol (Lomon). Even the fates of Eun Ho’s other victims, such as Go Hye Rim (Shin Yoo Rim) and Hwang Dong Sik (Jeong Dong Hwan), also change. Not only that, after Eun Ho disappears, a large amount of power enters Geum Ho’s (Lee Si Woo) bead, officially turning him into a nine-tailed fox.
Eun Ho was trapped in the Three Crossings River for 9 years
For nine years, Eun Ho was trapped in the Three Crossings River due to continuous torrential rain. There, Eun Ho, dressed in all white, sat silently, occasionally crying, as if unwilling to leave Kang Si Yeol and the mortal world. Seeing this, the God of Pagun (Joo Jin Mo) gave Eun Ho the chance to live again as a nine-tailed fox. However, she only met Kang Si Yeol again a year later.
Eun Ho and Kang Si Yeol lived happily together until one of them died

Did Kang Si Yeol and Eun Ho finally get together? Of course! Even their first date after 10 years was immortalized by a professional photographer and a famous Cannes-winning director. In addition, Eun Ho also invited Kang Si Yeol to live on the island he had bought. Then, will they eventually part ways? Yes, that is something that cannot be avoided, because Kang Si Yeol is human. However, at least they will still be together for 61 years. This is because Eun Ho had a vision of a black tombstone with the words “Kang Si Yeol” and “2096.03.20” written on it.
As of this writing, there is no further information about a potential second season of No Tail to Tell (2026). On the other hand, Lomon hinted that the ending of Eun Ho and Kang Si Yeol’s story is actually a happy one. “Stay with me until the end to find out what kind of glorious ending Eun Ho’s destiny will bring,” said Lomon, as reported by Top Star News. The scene where Eun Ho’s appearance remains unchanged when visiting Kang Si Yeol’s grave seems to confirm that she has chosen to continue living as a nine-tailed fox. We await further news from the production team regarding the potential for a second season!
